Job responsibilities: This position is responsible for the preparation of all center meals within established budget allowance in accordance with pre-planned menus in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
Establish quantity of food prepared according to the menu and the number of students, coordinate amount with cooks and culinary workers.
Assist in preparation of daily schedule, assign specific duties to staff and monitor and report work performance.
Responsible for storeroom inventory and for requisitioning merchandise from the property department.
Direct and assist in preparing food for special center functions, visitors and off-center assignments.
Promote and support positive customer service through the facility.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) year experience as a food handler.
Must possess a current ServSafe (Food Handler) Certification.
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
