What you will be doing: Youll be responsible for practicing in collaboration with and under the direction of the center physician, assisting in the performance of several medical students, in compliance with government and management directives.

Position Responsibilities Include:

1. Provide coordinated on-center health and wellness services to include promotion, prevention, assessment, intervention, treatment, and follow up of medical, mental health, drug and alcohol and oral health and wellness issues.

2. Provide direct medical services to students in clinical physician-patient relationship including examination, diagnostic and emergency treatment as required per PRH Exhibit 2-4.

3. Ensure required entry laboratory tests are completed and reviewed with necessary follow up testing and medical care.

4. 7. Oversee the immunization program and ensure DOL required immunizations, to include boosters for incomplete immunization series, and hepatitis B vaccine for health occupations training students are administered by nursing staff.

5. Participate in medication management case conferences monthly for students on daily medications.

• Completion of an accredited physician's assistant or nurse practitioner program with an active, unrestricted California physician extender or nurse practitioner license.

• Current DEA registration.

• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
